Provides four front facing GbE port and a pass through RJ45 port to support IPTV, VoIP phones or refrigerators. The HP 517 802.11ac Unified Walljack integrates four GbE ports and 802.11ac wireless connectivity making them ideal for hotel rooms and dorms. Delivers the latest Wi-Fi technology, offering 1.3Gb/s in the 5GHz frequency band and 450 Mb/s in the 2.4GHz band for high-bandwidth applications.

Comprehensive Security Locks out unauthorized wireless access by authenticating users prior to granting network access and secure data integrity of the wireless traffic with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) or Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP). Prevents communication between wireless devices associated with the same access point through local wireless bridge client traffic filtering. The HP 517 Unified Walljack protects wireless traffic between authenticated clients and the access point with 802.1X port based authentication.

Simplified deployment and reduced costs The HP 517 Unified Walljack requires a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable drop, reducing cabling, switch ports, and power sourcing. Support industry leading Lifetime Warranty 2.0 and 3 year 24×7 phone support. Supports pass-through port as well as PoE out, reducing additional power needs for IP-based VoIP phones. Provides wireless coverage for one room eliminating the need for site surveys.
